The ANSV is investigating the case of the ATR 72 that ditched North of Palermo airport today (h 14.15 UTC)

The technical investigation was started over the ATR 72 ditching of the aircraft carrying registration marks TS-LBB. The flight had originated at Bari with destination Djerba. The event has been reported to have happened at time 13.55 UTC.
The ANSV investigation team has been alerted and will be despatched immediately.
