Upon conclusion of an accident investigation, ANSV issues an accident report ("relazione d'inchiesta") containing useful information aimed at accident/incident prevention and where safety recommendations may also be included. Accident reports are then transmitted to the Presidency of Ministers Council to be forwarded to Parliament and Senate, Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation, ENAC, the European Commission and to ICAO. Within twelve months from an accident occurrence, except when the complexity of the investigation dictates differently, accident reports are transmitted to all subjects that can take advantage from the conclusions reached from an air safety standpoint and also to other applicants as established by the Agency.
Ali incidents investigated generate an incident report ("rapporto d'inchiesta") that may contain safety recommendations. Incident reports are transmitted to Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation, ENAC, the European Commission and to all subjects that can take advantage from the conclusions reached from an air safety standpoint.
Accident and incident reports and the recommendations they contain are without concern for blame or responsibility appraisal.
